Small Sawtooth Nailess Silver

S-HWR-2919X

Size: 10 pack ($0.22 Each)

About the product

The small nailess sawtooth hanger is a two-pronged hanger that can be attached to a wood picture frame without screws or nails. Their tempered steel finish allows nailess sawtooth hangers to be hammered into position without deforming and installed quickly.

    • Self-attaching no-nail sawtooth hangers for wood frames

    • Measures 1" long and 1/4" wide

    • Supports lightweight art up to 7 lbs

    • No additional hardware needed

    • Steel with corrosion-resistant zinc plating and silver finish

    Instructions

    1. Lay the frame face down on a blanket or soft surface.

    2. Position the nailess sawtooth so that it’s centered left-to-right on the top rail, a little down from the upper edge of the frame. The serrated edges on both sides can be installed either way.

    3. If installing on extremely hard wood, drill small pilot holes for the nailess sawtooth hanger’s legs.

    4. Use a small hammer to tap the nailess sawtooth hanger in place, taking care not to break the glass on the frame, if any. When properly seated, the shoulders of a nailess sawtooth hanger should rest on the surface of the frame rail, leaving approximately a 1/8" gap between the back of the hanger and the surface of the rail.

    5. Hang the picture on the wall, ensuring the nail in the wall is tight and secure before using it to hang the frame. TIP: Always use a headed nail, not a brad, and position the frame on the nail so that the nail is caught firmly on the sawtooth hanger.
